Project: Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Denver
Location: Downtown Denver
Owner: Stonebridge Companies
Architect: Ivins Design Group

Project Description:
The Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Denver is a 12-story, 220,000 square foot hotel featuring 221 rooms. The hotel is situated on a 21,900 square foot site adjacent to the Colorado Convention Center.

The facility includes an on-site four-story parking garage, indoor pool and fitness center, restaurant, conference and meeting facilities. It features guest amenities including executive services with Concierge Desk plus a Business Center, full-service kitchen to support restaurant, bar and in-room services.

Construction of the post-tension building included a unique Porte Cochere with "floating" ceiling detail and intricate concrete driveway. Unique challenges of the project included zero lot-line construction, tight coordination with city agencies and neighbors, unknown existing underground structures and the worst winter in recent history.

Remaining contingency dollars at the end of the project allowed the ownership group to add upgraded finishes to the lobby and porte cochere areas that were previously not considered an option.
