Project: Cottonwood Point
Location: Greeley, CO
Type: Medical Office Building
Owner: Cottonwood Pointe, LCC
Architect: Davis Partnership P.C. Architects

Project Description:
This project was a two-story, 30,000 sf medical office building. Building construction consisted of conventional spread footings and stem wall foundation systems. The structural system for the building is unique because it is a composite of steel frame and wood frame systems with a TJI floor system. The roof system consists of engineered wood trusses with light weight concrete tile. The main structural system was selected for its economy and ease of installation and flexibility.

The steel frame allows all interior walls to be non-load bearing. Exterior shell is load-bearing wood frame with brick veneer at grade level and strip window system at the second floor. Interior finishes consist of standard metal stud and drywall, acoustical ceiling and standard floor finishes. Mechanical system is a 4-pipe system with the air handlers located in the basement and the chiller located in an exterior-area well adjacent to the basement area.
